WHAT TO KNOW FIRST

Before You Compare Fast Business Funding Options

Measure from application to usable cash

An advertised decision in minutes is different from funds being available to spend. Ask what starts the clock: complete documents, approval, signed agreement or draw request. Confirm business-day cutoffs, transfer method, bank availability and whether the fastest option is only for existing customers.

Price the deadline

Write down the practical cost of waiting. Compare that with all fees and repayment obligations in the faster offer. Speed alone does not establish higher or lower cost. Avoid borrowing more than the documented need simply because a larger amount is offered.

Check the first debit

The first payment may arrive before the financed inventory sells or the customer pays. Put it on a weekly cash calendar beside payroll, taxes and existing debt. Stress-test delayed receipts instead of relying only on average monthly revenue.

Get the complete offer before committing

Collect the named provider, net cash, repayment schedule, early-payoff treatment, personal liability and lien terms. Verify any extension or reconciliation mechanism in writing. A preapproved credit line can help with timing, but future draws and continued availability can remain conditional.
