Kapitus
Broad financing options for established businesses, with fast decisions and network complexity.
Advertiser disclosure: FundingRank may be compensated when you visit or apply with some of the providers on this site. Compensation never affects our product facts, editorial conclusions or provider coverage. How we make money
Kapitus fits established businesses that want several financing structures and can meet relatively strong credit, revenue and operating-history requirements. It can return multiple offers quickly, but pricing and the actual funding provider vary. Read the provider and repayment terms on the specific offer.

How FundingRank Evaluates Kapitus
FundingRank does not assign one lender-wide star score across unlike financing products. We publish product-level requirements and costs, flag conflicting provider disclosures, and keep application privacy separate.
The company underwrites its own financing, but its published terms allow some applications, declines or products to be routed to outside financing providers that may contact you separately.
What we found: Kapitus provides some financing itself or through a bank partner, and states that it may refer applicants to third-party financing providers. Its privacy policy also names referral sources, lead vendors and advertising partners among the parties it may disclose information to — the broadest published permission of the direct lenders we track.
Why there is no lender-wide star rating
A term loan, line of credit, SBA product and revenue-based financing structure are not interchangeable. A single blended score can reward easier qualification or penalize missing disclosures in ways that look like a judgment about financing quality. FundingRank compares the underlying product facts instead.

Financing Products
Kapitus does not publish one universal APR or fee schedule across its network. The final offer controls.
Before You Apply
Kapitus requirements are product-specific. Its current first-party business-loan materials conflict between 625 and 650 for the credit floor, while other products and network financing have their own underwriting. FundingRank does not publish one lender-wide minimum.
Typical Requirements
What You May Need
- Approximately 3–6 months of business bank statements for core short-term products
- Business and ownership information
- Additional financial, tax, identity or collateral documents if required by the selected financing provider or program
How the Application Works
- Complete Kapitus's online application with basic business, revenue, ownership and funding information.
- Upload the requested financial documents. Current product pages say applicants should expect to provide roughly three to six months of business bank statements.
- A Kapitus financing specialist reviews your business profile and discusses the financing structures that may fit.
- Depending on the product, Kapitus can present multiple offers from Kapitus, affiliates, a bank partner or other financing-network members.
- Before accepting, identify the actual funding provider and compare total cost, payment frequency, term, fees, guarantees or liens, and early-payoff rules.
Fees, Credit Checks and Early Payoff
The three places a business funding offer usually costs more than the headline number suggests.
Fees
Kapitus does not publish one universal APR or fee schedule across its network. The final offer controls.
Credit check
Kapitus says credit impact depends on the financing type. Its current business-loan page warns that business-loan applications will typically involve some personal-credit impact through a hard inquiry and/or later credit reporting. Other network products can have different rules.
Paying it off early
Kapitus's current business-loan FAQ says there are no early-payment penalties on its Business Loan. Do not assume that rule applies to revenue-based financing, SBA loans, lines of credit or outside network offers.

Where Your Application Goes
Some financing comes from Kapitus or affiliates; other offers can come through its network or WebBank. Confirm the provider before signing.
Servicing, Availability and What Borrowers Report
What the relationship looks like once the money lands, and where the lender is actually able to operate.
Building business credit
Kapitus says the effect on business credit depends on the financing type and that responsible financing can help build business credit. FundingRank has not established a single reporting policy across every network provider.
Where it operates
Core Kapitus financing is for U.S. businesses. Some products come through Kapitus entities, some through financing-network members, and current disclosures say loans may be funded by WebBank; the specific lender is identified in the agreement. California lending is handled under disclosed state licenses.
Customer support
Kapitus uses financing specialists to guide applicants through product selection and offers. FundingRank has not independently scored response time or servicing quality.
What borrowers report
Current mainstream reviews consistently praise Kapitus for speed, large funding limits and product breadth. They also flag the same practical concerns FundingRank sees in the primary sources: relatively stiff qualification requirements, short repayment windows on some products and pricing that can be difficult to compare until you have the actual offer.
