Fundbox
An accessible revolving line for newer businesses, with short weekly repayment.
Advertiser disclosure: FundingRank may be compensated when you visit or apply with some of the providers on this site. Compensation never affects our product facts, editorial conclusions or provider coverage. How we make money
Fundbox offers revolving working-capital financing with weekly repayment. Compare the draw-specific cost and cash-flow burden. Its published operating-history disclosures conflict, so a short stated history should not be read as assurance of approval.

How FundingRank Evaluates Fundbox
FundingRank does not assign one lender-wide star score across unlike financing products. We publish product-level requirements and costs, flag conflicting provider disclosures, and keep application privacy separate.
You apply with a single lender. That lender, or the bank it names before you sign, underwrites and funds the deal. Published material does not describe passing your application to a panel of other financing companies.
What we found: One application, evaluated by Fundbox. Credit is originated by First Electronic Bank or Lead Bank, which is a funding structure rather than a lead network — your application is not presented to a panel of competing financing companies. Fundbox's privacy policy separately permits sharing with bank partners, affiliates, affiliated brokers and advertisers for marketing purposes.
Why there is no lender-wide star rating
A term loan, line of credit, SBA product and revenue-based financing structure are not interchangeable. A single blended score can reward easier qualification or penalize missing disclosures in ways that look like a judgment about financing quality. FundingRank compares the underlying product facts instead.

Financing Products
Fundbox does not publish one universal APR. Review the draw-specific financing cost and weekly payment before taking funds.
Before You Apply
Fundbox currently publishes 600+ FICO and $30,000+ annual revenue consistently, but its current first-party pages conflict on operating history, with one stating 3+ months and another 6+ months. FundingRank therefore does not publish a single time-in-business floor.
Typical Requirements
What You May Need
- Business checking account with recent transaction history
- Basic business and owner information
- Additional documentation if requested during underwriting
How the Application Works
- Create a Fundbox account and provide basic business information, including establishment date and recent revenue.
- Connect a business checking account or supported business-data source so Fundbox can review transaction history.
- Fundbox evaluates eligibility using a soft credit inquiry during the application stage; the initial application should not affect your personal credit score.
- If approved, review your credit limit, fee, weekly payment and repayment plan before requesting a draw.
- At the first draw, Fundbox says a hard inquiry may be conducted. The financing is originated through First Electronic Bank or Lead Bank, depending on the offer.
Fees, Credit Checks and Early Payoff
The three places a business funding offer usually costs more than the headline number suggests.
Fees
Fundbox does not publish one universal APR. Review the draw-specific financing cost and weekly payment before taking funds.
Credit check
Fundbox says the application stage uses a soft pull and should not affect your credit score. Current application guidance says a hard inquiry can be performed when an approved customer takes the first draw.
Paying it off early
Fundbox says borrowers can repay early without a prepayment penalty. Review the exact draw agreement to confirm how much remaining financing cost is waived when you pay early.
What Happens After You Apply
Review who receives the application, how follow-up works, and the expected funding timeline.
Where Your Application Goes
Fundbox runs the application and servicing platform. Financing is originated by First Electronic Bank or Lead Bank, so the applicable bank disclosures also matter.
Servicing, Availability and What Borrowers Report
What the relationship looks like once the money lands, and where the lender is actually able to operate.
Building business credit
Fundbox says it reports payment activity to the Small Business Financial Exchange (SBFE), which shares data with Experian, Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet.
Where it operates
Fundbox and its bank partners make financing available to U.S. businesses, subject to credit approval and state/local restrictions. Current official disclaimers say financing may not be available in every state and that local restrictions can apply.
Customer support
Fundbox publishes phone and email support and says support is available Monday through Friday. FundingRank has not independently measured response time.
What borrowers report
FundingRank has not independently established approval ease or measured customer outcomes. Use the product's repayment schedule, actual offer cost and evidence notes to assess fit.
